If you must drive, no need to do it alone. Car pooling can halve, or third, or fourth, the environmental footprint of driving. Contact your worksite leader to access worksite-specific Google Groups in which you can communicate with fellow volunteers and post messages both in search of a ride as well as notifying availability of spare seats in your own car.
